NCHMCT JEE 2021 Exam Date Out; To Be Held as Remote Proctored Online Test
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced the new exam dates of NCHCT JEE 2021. The test which was initially to be held on June 12, was postponed due to the pandemic. The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced the NCHMCT JEE 2021 exam date. NTA has informed that it will hold the National Council of Hotel Management and Catering Technology Joint Entrance Examination or NCHMCT JEE on August 10, 2021. The exam will be held in online remote proctored mode. NTA was supposed to hold the exam in CBT mode. However, the candidates will not have to visit any centre now to take the exam.
Also, NTA will now convey the hardware / software specifications, how to appear in the exam, Do’s and Don’ts, mock test etc will be communicated to each candidate individually, through their registered email.
Earlier the exam was scheduled to be held on June 12, 2021. The exam was then postponed due to Covid-19.
Also, the admit card of NCHMCT JEE 2021 will be available from soon. To download the admit card, the candidates have to login to the official website of NCHMCT JEE 2021, which is nchmjee.nta.nic.in. Thereafter, they need to login into their account using the login credentials needed which are application number and password / date of birth. Inside the dashboard candidates can check the option to download their admit card.
The exam centre address, reporting time and more important details regarding the NCHMCT JEE 2021 exam will be printed on it. The application form filling process was already closed on July 5, 2021. All those candidates who have applied by then, have been issued the admit card.
NCHMCT JEE 2021 will be held for admission in B.Sc.(Hospitality & Hotel Administration) programme. The exam is held annually to fill the seats in all Institutes affiliated with NCHMCT. The exam will have 200 questions and all questions will be objective type. Each question will carry 4 marks and each wrong answer will lead to a negative marking of 1 marks. Questions in the exam will come from Numerical Ability and Analytical Aptitude, Reasoning and Logical Deduction, General Knowledge & Current Affairs, English Language, and Aptitude for Service Sector. Till 2018, the National Council of Hotel Management and Catering Technology (NCHM & CT), an autonomous body under the Ministry of Tourism, Government of India, conducted the NCHMCT JEE exam. However, from 2019 onwards, National Testing Agency (NTA) took over the charge to conduct the NCHMT JEE exam. Last year, NCHMCT JEE had 32,603 applicants.
