This new School of Hospitality Management introduces the B.Sc. (Hons.) in Culinary and Hospitality Management course, designed to prepare students for a successful career in the dynamic and ever-evolving hospitality industry.

Mahindra University, a leading institution in Hyderabad, has launched its highly anticipated School of Hospitality Management. This new school introduces the B.Sc. (Hons.) in Culinary and Hospitality Management course, designed to prepare students for a successful career in the dynamic and ever-evolving hospitality industry. The programme combines culinary expertise with essential management skills, aiming to equip students with a deep understanding of both traditional practices and modern technological advancements.

The course will emphasize global opportunities, with a focus on innovation, sustainability, and analytics. Students will be trained to become versatile professionals, ready to meet the challenges and demands of the global hospitality landscape.

Mahindra University Admissions and Eligibility Details

Admissions for the first academic session, which will have 30 seats, will open in January 2025, with classes beginning in February 2025. The regular academic session, which will accommodate 60 students, will start in August 2025.

To be eligible for the course, students who have completed their 10+2 across any stream from a recognized board with a minimum score of 80% are encouraged to apply. Admission can be secured either through the NCHMCT JEE entrance examination or by qualifying for the Mahindra University Hospitality Management Entrance Test 2025 (MUHET 2025). The National Council for Hotel Management and Catering Technology Joint Entrance Examination (NCHMCT JEE) is primarily conducted for admission to the following course:

1. Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Hospitality and Hotel Administration: This undergraduate programme is offered by various participating institutes and colleges affiliated with the National Council for Hotel Management and Catering Technology (NCHMCT). The B.Sc. in Hospitality and Hotel Administration is a comprehensive programme that prepares students for careers in the hospitality and hotel management industry. Life at Mahindra Institute is a little difficult because there is a lot of work pressure and a lot of syllabus, but the faculty is fairly good and supportive and assists students with any problem, whether it is linked to studies or anything else. The college gives students good practical experience, and the college has a good placement rate; they also position students on their campus and offer internship chances to its students. The Mahindra Institute has a high placement rate as well. The college provides good hostel amenities, and the food served in the mess is likewise of high quality.
