NCHMCT JEE 2022 Exam Date Revised From 28 May to 18 June

NTA has postponed NCHMCT JEE 2022 exam. The exam will be held in CBT mode across the nation and the application form to apply for it is available online only till May 3.

As per the public notice dated uploaded on the official website of NCHMCT JEE 2022, the entrance test for admission to BSc (Hospitality & Hotel Administration) course at the IHMs stands postponed. 

As per the public notice the exam has been postponed after receiving representations from candidates. Earlier the exam was scheduled to be held on May 28.

What else changes?

Apart from the exam date, NTA has kept the schedule intact. The online application process is going on since February 4. The form will resin available till May 3. The registered candidates will be able to edit the online form is needed from May 4 to 6. Other than that, other dates for NCHMCT JEE 2022 like admit card release dates, results and counselling dates are yet to be announced. 

In NCHMCT questions will be asked in English and Hindi language. The total duration of the exam will be 180 minutes and all questions will be of Multiple Choice Type. 200 questions will be framed from Numerical Ability and Analytical Aptitude, Reasoning and Logical Deduction, General Knowledge & Current Affairs, English Language, and Aptitude for Service Sector.

 NCHMCT JEE is held annually and is conducted by NTA on behalf of the National Council for Hotel Management & Catering Technology (NCHMCT). The 3 years BSc (HHA) course is offered by NCHMCT jointly with the Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU). The NCHM JEE score is accepted by all the participating Institutes for admission to the BSc (HHA) courses offered by their respective institutions.

NCHMCT JEE scores are utilized by the Institute of Hotel Management (IHM) for admission. There are about 21 central IHMs, 25 state IHMs,1 PSU IHM, and 27 Private IHMs that are affiliated to NCHMCT and offer BSc (HHA) courses and the admission is based on NCHMCT JEE 2022.
