Releasing Soon! NCHM JEE Entrance Examination 2022 Application Form, 5 Things to Note
The National Testing Agency (NTA) will soon release the online application form for NCHM JEE 2022. Under the upcoming section on the official website, nchm.nic.in, the notice reads ‘Online Application Notification for NCHM JEE will be available soon”.
NTA, on behalf of the National Council for Hotel Management and Catering Technology (NCHMCT), will release the online application form for NCHM JEE Entrance Examination 2022. The application forms and all other details of the entrance test will be available in the 1st week of February, tentatively.
Going by last year dates, NCHMCT JEE 2022 can be held in August 2022 or before. The application forms will be available on nchmjee.nta.nic.in. Due to the pandemic, last year the exam was held as an online proctored test. However, the exam is generally held as a computer-based test at exam centres across the nation.
Now that the NCHM JEE 2022 application form will be out soon, here are 5 things candidates need to note:
#1. Eligibility to apply for NCHMCT JEE 2022
The candidates can apply for NCHMCT JEE 2022 only if they have passed or are appearing in 10+2 in 2022. Also candidates from General, General (EWS) and OBC categories, the upper age limit is 25 years as of 01.07.2022. Candidates born on or after July 01, 1997, are eligible. In the case of SC/ST candidates and Physically challenged candidates, the upper age limit is 28 years as of 01.07.2022. That is SC/ST and Physically challenged candidates born on or after July 01, 1994, are eligible.
#2. The application process
NCHMCT JEE 2022 application forms will be released online only. There will be no offline forms. To apply for the entrance test candidates have to register, fill out the online form, upload scanned documents, pay the application fee and print the acknowledgement form.
The acknowledgement form must be kept safe with the candidates. There is no need to send any printed application to NTA or NCHMCT.
#3. Documents need to upload in the online application form
The candidates will need to upload scanned documents in the NCHMCT JEE 2022 application form. The documents needed are a passport-sized photo of the candidate and their signature. The scanned photo must be 10 KB to 200 KB in size and the format must be jpg/jpeg. Similarly, the scanned signature must be of size between 4 KB to 30 KB and the format must be jpg.jpeg.
#4. The application fee
To submit the online application form, candidates have to make an online fee payment. The application fee as per last year for NCHM JEE was INR 1,000 for the General/ Non-Creamy Layer OBC candidates. The fee was INR 700 for the EWS candidates and INR 450 for SC/ST/PD/Transgender candidates. The online fee will have to be paid using an online payment gateway integrated into the form. The modes of payment can be Net Banking/Debit/Credit Card/UPI/Wallet/Paytm.
#5. After the application process
Candidates have to take at least 4 printouts of the confirmation page/acknowledgement page. Also, they should keep the print of proof of fee paid. Candidates must also keep photographs (same as uploaded on the online form) with them. All registered candidates as per the deadline will be issued the NCHM JEE admit card 2022 to appear for the examination.
