AMU Entrance Test Dates 2025

Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) will conclude the registration process for the AMU admission test 2025 tomorrow, i.e. January 31, 2025. Interested and eligible candidates willing to appear for Aligarh Muslim University Entrance Exam can submit their application forms in online mode. The AMU admission test registration link 2024 is active at amucontrollerexams.com. Students are suggested to fill AMUEE registration form 2025 at the earliest possible to avoid last-minute discrepancies. However, the application portal with late fill will remain open till February 7, 2025

The BA course examination is scheduled for April 9, 2025, the BSc and B.Com exams are set for April 14, 2025, while the B.Tech/B.Arch test will take place on April 20, 2025. Additionally, the BSc/Diploma in Paramedical Courses exam will be held on April 16, 2025. The students willing to appear for the BA LLB programme will have to appear in the examination on April 20 while the B.Sc Nursing exam will be held on April 22, 2025. 

Q:   How many seats are there for AMU BSc course?

A:

Aligarh Muslim University offers a three-year full-time BSc course at the undergraduate level. Apart from the BSc course, the University also offers BSc (Hons) courses. AMU admission to the BSc course is based on candidates' performance in an entrance test conducted by the University. The total seat intake for the AMU BSc course is approximately 1260. Q:   Can I get admission to AMU without taking the entrance test after 12th?

A:

There is no such provision for direct admission to any of the programmes offered at Aligarh Muslim University (AMU). Candidates seeking admission at AMU must meet the eligibility criteria laid down by the university. Those who meet the eligibility criteria can register for the prescribed entrance examinations. Given below are the eligibility and selection process for the courses offered at AMU:

NEET UG + Counselling

MBA

Bachelor's degree in any discipline with a minimum aggregate of 50%

Written test (100 marks)+ Interview/Aptitude Assessment/Group Discussion (25 marks)

BE/ BTech

Class 12 or equivalent with a minimum 50% aggregate in English, Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics from a recognised board of education.

Or

Diploma in Engineering or equivalent from a recognised institute with a minimum 50% aggregate

AMUEEE + Counselling

BA LLB

Class 12 with a minimum aggregate of 50%

Or

Bridge Course-Senior Secondary School Certificate from AMU with 50% marks in aggregate

Age: Maximum 22 years as of July 1 of the admission year.

Q:   How many marks required to get admission in AMU?

A:

The minimum marks required for admission to AMU depends on the selected course. Generally, for all the UG courses the minimum requirement is that the candidate must have passed class 12 with a minimum 50% aggregate and for AMU PG courses admission, 50% in graduation is required.

Age: Maximum 27 years as of July 1 of the admission year.
