BHU Admissions 2022: The Banaras Hindu University (BHU) will be holding the Undergraduate (UG) and Postgraduate (PG) spot admission for candidates who did not fill their options in the earlier counselling rounds. As per the latest update by BHU on its official twitter handle, the BHU said that "it has accepted the request of the candidates and given them one more chance."
The tweet read, “The University Admission Coordination Committee of Banaras Hindu University has accepted the request of the students and given them one more chance at admission. All such students who have not filled the preference earlier but have registered will be able to get admission on a merit basis in mop up or spot round depending upon the availability of vacant seats.”
Candidates note that the BHU has also given the dates for the UG and PG Spot Admissions. For UG candidates it will begin on November 15 and for PG courses it will begin on November 22.
Further, the tweet read, “These students can apply for vacant seats in undergraduate and postgraduate courses by appearing in the mop up or spot rounds. The mop up process for undergraduate courses will be on 15.11.2022 - 16.11.2022 and for post graduate courses the mop up process will be on 22.11.2022 - 23.11.2022.”
Candidates will be able to register for the spot admission as per the given dates. Students who registered earlier for the BHU UG and PG Admission but did not fill their preference will be receiving the chance to sit for the spot admissions. BHU also mentioned that "these students can take admission on the given days by paying their fees on the basis of eligibility and seat availability.
