CUET 2023 in May-June will allow academic session to begin from August 1: UGC Chairman
NTA is working on preparing 1000 test centres for CUET UG and CUET PG across the country, out of which 450 – 500 centres will be used per day.
Next week, NTA will announce CUET-PG test dates and application dates.
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced dates for CUET 2023. The examination will be conducted between May 21 to May 31, 2023. The application process for CUET 2023 Exam will commence in the first week of February 2023.
University Grants Commission Chairman, Prof Mamidala Jagadesh Kumar sharing the information has said that the application process for the Common University Entrance Test (CUET-UG) to be conducted between the 21st and 31st of May will start in the first week of February 2023.
“Next week, NTA will announce CUET-PG test dates and application dates. CUET-PG is expected to be held in the first/second week of June 2023,” writes UGC Chairman.
Mamidala Jagadesh Kumar has stated that universities will be able to begin academic sessions from August 01, 2023. In a tweet, Prof Kumar writes: “With the above schedule of CUET-UG and CUET-PG, Universities can complete their admission process by the end of July 2023 and begin the academic sessions by 01 August 2023.”
NTA is working on preparing 1000 test centres across the country, out of which 450 – 500 centres will be used per day. The number of subjects and pattern of question papers will remain the same. A candidate can take as many as six domain subjects in addition to one/ two languages and the General Test.
CUET 2023 Results
Sharing information related to the medium of examination, Kumar writes Medium of Examination: Any of the following languages - Assamese, Bengali, English, Gujarati, Hindi, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu.”
Results of CUET-UG are planned to be announced in the third week of June 2023 and those of CUET-PG in the first week of July 2023.
