CUET-UG 2022: Exams to be held between July 15- Aug 10
NTA has reopened the window for candidates to apply for CUET and make corrections to the form between June 23 and June 24.
The National Testing Agency has announced dates for conducting Common University Entrance Test CUET (UG) โ 2022, for admission to various central and state universities. The examinations will be held between July 15 to August 10 in CBT (Computer Based Test) mode.
The dates for CUET-UG 2022 have been announced. The CUET (UG) will be conducted on July 15, July 16, July 19, July 20 and August 04, August 05, August 06, August 07, August 08 and August 10 in CBT mode.
The NTA will once again open the window for candidates to apply for CUET where they can apply online for the CUET UG and also make corrections to the application form between June 23 and June 24. Students have been demanding for reopening of the application window.
The examination will be held across 554 centres in India and 12 cities outside India. Making the announcement, University Grants Commission Chairman M Jagadish Kumar wrote on Twitter: โNational Testing Agency will be conducting Common University Entrance Test [CUET (UG) - 2022] at different centres located in 554 cities across India and 13 Cities Outside-India.
As of now, 9,50,804 Candidates have registered for admission into 86 Universities out of which there are 43 Central Universities, 13 State Universities, 12 Deemed-to-be-universities and 18 private universities. This year popular central universities like the Delhi University (DU), Banaras Hindu University (BHU), Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) have announced to admit student through CUET in their undergraduate courses.
NTA reopens CUET-UG applications
As per a statement by NTA, since, it is the only exam for entry into Central University System (UG Courses), the Registration is once again being opened for one last time on the demand of the Candidates. All the candidates who are interested to apply for the said Examination are advised to visit the website (cuet.samarth.ac.in) and complete the application process."
Candidates can appear for CUET in any of the 13 mediums being offered, and select any combination out of 33 languages and 27 unique subjects. One candidate has applied to more than five universities, on average, and there are more than 54,000 unique combinations of subjects chosen by various applicants.
