DU Admissions 2022: Application form submission portal to be launched 'very soon'

DU Admissions 2022: Delhi University (DU) will soon be launching the Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) portal for the aspirants to apply for the admissions in the undergraduate courses. Vice Chancellor Yogesh Singh made the announcement a day after the debut edition of the CUET UG 2022 concluded. It must be noted that this year, the Delhi University will be conducting the admission process on the bases of the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) scores. 

As per the initial schedule released by the National Testing Agency (NTA), the CUET UG 2022 exam was supposed to end on August 20. The delay in the CUET UG resulted in a delay in admission to the DU.

"We will start the CSAS portal for the aspirants very soon. The work is in progress. And we will start the admission process very soon," Vice-Chancellor said, as reported by NDTV. However, the VC did not give any tentative date for the launch of the portal. Earlier, the varsity was expected to launch the portal by the August last week, however, with CUET Last phase getting over on August 30, it was delayed too.

Admission through the CSAS will be held in three phases -- submission of the CSAS 2022 application form, selection of programmes and filling of preferences, and seat allocation and admission. In the second phase, the candidate will require the CUET score. That means, the second phase of DU Admissions 2022 will begin only after the declaration of the CUET UG 2022 results. The candidate will then have to select the courses in which they wish to take admission. 

They will have to confirm the programme-specific CUET UG merit score for all the selected programmes. In the third phase, seats will be allocated through DU Merit list 2022.
