DU Admissions 2021: The first cut off of DU 2021 list has been released by DU on October 1. The colleges started releasing their first cut-off list on October 1 and admissions for the same will begin from October 4 at 10 am and will go on till October 6 at 11.59 pm. Students must note that they need to complete the admission formalities before the set deadline.
The DU 1st cutoff 2021 date and schedule were finalised during a meeting of admission committee members and college principals, the sources added. Delhi University has released the DU Cut off 2021 schedule. As per the schedule, DU 1st cutoff 2021 for undergraduate college courses will be announced on October 1 and a special cut-off will be announced after the DU Third cutoff list has been issued.
Like DU Cut off 2020, the DU 1st cutoff 2021 of most of the colleges will be declared on the same day. This year the DU first cut off for undergraduate merit-based courses like BA (Hons), BA programme, BCom (Hons), BSc is expected to be as high as 99.37 per cent.
Nearly 70,000 seats under various courses are up for grabs and the admission process is online due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
It must be noted that the special cut-offs are released for all those candidates who could not apply for the earlier lists, despite meeting all the eligibility criteria. Every year, the special cutt-offs were released immediately after every list, however, since the admission process is being conducted online this year, it won't be possible. Therefore, a special cutoff will be announced after the third cut off is released by Delhi University.
Delhi University's affiliated colleges will approve the admissions under the first list by 5 pm on October 7 and the last day of payment will be October 8 by 5 pm. The second cut-off will be released on October 9, with admissions beginning from October 11 at 10 am and ending on October 13 at 11.59 pm.
Owing to the COVID-19 restrictions, the whole DU Admission 2021 Process is being conducted online. Earlier, while speaking to Shiksha, Professor Rajeev Gupta, Chairman of DU's admission committee, had said that the University will formally announce the cut-off schedule in the next couple of days. If the first-cut off is released on October 1, then the admission process will start on October 4 as on October 2 (Gandhi Jayanti) and October 3 (Sunday) are holidays.
The Delhi University had decided to announce DU first cut off 2021 marks on October 1, to allow those students who have appeared for improvement and compartment exams, to apply in case they meet the eligibility criteria.
The Delhi University (DU) Cutoff schedule also mentioned that the admissions under the second list will be approved by 5 pm on October 14 and the last day of payment is October 15 by 5 pm. The DU third cut-off list will be declared on October 16 with the admission process starting on October 18 at 10 am. Students can apply for admission till October 21 at 11.59 pm. DU Colleges will except admissions under the third list by 5 pm on October 22 and the last day of payment be October 23 by 5 pm.
As per the DU admission schedule 2021, the admission process will begin on October 26 at 10 am and will be completed on October 27 at 11.59 pm for special cut-offs and colleges will approve admissions by 5 pm on October 28. Students must note that the last date to do the payment is October 29 by 5 pm. The fourth list will be released on October 30 with the admission process beginning on November 1 at 10 am and completing on November 2 at 11.59 pm.
The colleges will be completing the approvals for admission against 4th cut-off 2021 on November 5. The last date of payment by candidates against the 4th Cut-off is November 6 by 5 pm, the varsity said. The fifth list will be announced on November 8 and the candidates will be able to apply for admission by November 9 at 10 am and ending on the next day at November 10 at 11.59 pm.

The first combined DU cutoff 2020 was released by Delhi University on October 10 for Science, Arts, Commerce and BA Programme. A special cut off of DU 2020 was released on November 18, 2020, on the official website of the university.
