IGNOU admission last date 2024 has been further extended till August 14, 2024. The re-registration last date for online and ODL UG, PG, Diploma and certificate courses has been extended along with IGNOU fresh admission last date 2024.

Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has further extended the online/ ODL admission last date for July 2024 session till August 14, 2024. The IGNOU admission last date 2024 has been re-extended for all courses including UG, PG, Diploma, PG Diploma and Certificate courses. Apart from fresh registration, IGNOU re-registration last date 2024 has also been extended till July 31. However, it is suggested that students must fill the application form at the earliest and not wait for IGNOU registration last date 2024. 

The IGNOU registration link 2024 for online and ODL UG, PG, Diploma and PG Diploma courses is activated at ignouadmission.samarth.edu.in. However, the IGNOU Online admission link 2024 is also available at ignouiop.samarth.edu.in.

How to Apply for IGNOU Admission Online 2024?

Students can check the below steps for IGNOU registration 2024: 

  • Visit the official website - ignouadmission.samarth.edu.in
  • Click on 'IGNOU registration form' link highlighted on the notification bar of the homepage
  • Complete registration using the necessary personal details
  • Select a username and create a password
  • Login with the selected credentials and move forward to complete IGNOU 2024 application form.
  • Pay IGNOU registration fees 2024 and submit the application form.

  • Select the 'Student Zone' option available in the navigation bar
  • Locate the 'Online Admission' option and click on it
  • Using your login credentials, log in to the admission portal
  • Now, select the 'My application' tab to view all your IGNOU applications
  • Now the students will be presented with one of the following options:
    • Fresh Application: It implies that your application is in the process of verification
    • Admission Confirmed: It means that your documents are successfully verified and your application is approved
    • Discrepancy: It means that you need to re-upload the documents for approval
    • Cancelled: It means that your request to cancel the already submitted IGNOU application is approved
