JAIN Online, the digital learning platform of JAIN (Deemed-to-be University), has opened admissions for its two-year Online Master of Arts in Public Policy. Designed to shape the policymakers of the future, the program offers a thorough understanding of both domestic and global policy landscapes. Graduates will gain access to diverse career opportunities in both the public and private sectors, with potential roles including Chief Administrative Officer, Program Director, Environmental Policy Specialist, and Foreign Policy Analyst, among others.

Postgraduate Program in Public Policy

This four-semester program provides an in-depth exploration of key areas including public policy management, public administration, international affairs, public finance, fiscal policy, sociology, sustainable development, digital governance, political economy, and the integration of technology in policymaking. The curriculum is designed to address the changing landscape of policymaking, featuring electives such as a Policy Talk series that emphasizes knowledge, wisdom, and ethics.

Dr Raj Singh, Vice-Chancellor of JAIN (Deemed-to-be-University), said, “With this program, we aim to prepare learners for leadership roles in both the public and private sectors. An MA Program in Public Policy is crucial today, both in India and on a global scale, as it will help professionals deal with complex societal challenges. As rapid technological advancements, shifting geopolitical dynamics, and widening economic disparities continue to unfold, policymakers must devise solutions that align economic growth, social equality, and environmental sustainability together."

He also added, "In India, these programs can play a crucial role in building strategies that promote inclusive growth, advance governance decisions, and address challenges such as misinformation, climate change, and urbanization while also raising public awareness.”
