JMI Admissions 2023: Jamia Millia Islamia has released the academic brochure as per which the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) Score 2023 will only be considered for five postgraduate courses and around 15 undergraduate courses. The varsity in the official notification mentioned that the university specified that for a majority of the undergraduate and post-graduate programmes, JMI will conduct its own entrance tests followed by interviews if required for the respective programmes.

“Due to some existing ordinances of the university, CUET cannot be implemented fully this year. So admissions to a handful of courses will be based on the CUET scores. The administration has written to authorities regarding it and from next year it should be able to cover all the programmes under CUET,” a senior JMI official said, as reported by TOI.

The postgraduate courses for which CUET score will be considered for admissions include MA Sanskrit, MSc disaster management and climate sustainability studies, MA educational planning and administration and MA Persian.
“The university will prepare the rank list strictly based on merit — on the entrance test score of the candidates based on the provisions in the university ordinances and in accordance with various applicable reservations and relaxations,” the University said.
