JNU UG Admission 2023 1st Merit expected today at jnu.ac.in; Know how to check

Candidates seeking admission to Jawaharlal Nehru University must note that the 1st admission list will be released at jnu.ac.in.

JNU Admission 2023 1st Merit List: Jawaharlal Nehru University is expected to release JNU UG First merit list 2023 for admission into its undergraduate programmes for the academic session 2023-24. It is likely that JNU UG admission 2023 first merit list will be published today, i.e. August 8. The last date for submission of online applications was August 2. Candidates seeking admission to Jawaharlal Nehru University must note that the 1st admission list will be released at jnu.ac.in.

JNU admission 2023 to various undergraduate courses will be conducted based on the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) scores. CUET-UG scores will be applicable for admission to all programmes including the integrated BSc-MSc programme in ayurveda biology, BA (Hons) in foreign languages, and all its certificate of proficiency programmes. Candidates opting for the BTech course must have a valid JEE-Main score.

Officials from the varsity have informed that JNU 1st merit list 2023 for UG Admissions 2023 will be released on August 8. The pre-enrolment registration and payment of fees with blocking of seats for the first list will remain active from August 8 to 11.

Meanwhile, candidates whose names would not be there in the 1st list or those not satisfied with the allotment can wait for JNU UG Admission 2023 2nd Merit List. The varsity is like to release JNU UG Admission 2023 Second Merit List on August 16. After the release of second list, the pre-enrolment registrations and fee payment will have to be completed between August 22 and 24.

How to check JNU UG Merit List 2023?

• Go to the official website jnuee.jnu.ac.in
• On the homepage, navigate and click on JNU UG 1st Merit List 2023 Link
• Login using registered ID and password 
• After login candidates will be able to check JNU UG 1st Merit List
• Download for future reference

The university will release the third merit list on August 22 and the fourth and final list on September 7.

According to the officials, Students whose names mention on the third list can complete their pre-enrolment registration and fee payment till August 24.  The process of pre-enrolment registration and payment of fees for the fourth list will be done on September 7-8, the official added.

The last date for registration and admission is September 15.
