Ministry of Education invites entries for renewal of CSSS scholarship application at scholarships.gov.in

Candidates willing to apply for renewal of CSSS scholarship application may visit the official National Scholarship Portal (NSP) at scholarships.gov.in.

CSSS Scholarship Renewal Application: Telangana State Board of Intermediate Education (TSBIE) has informed the commencement of the application process for the renewal of online applications for the Central Sector Scholarship Scheme (CSSS) scholarship. Candidates willing to apply for renewal of CSSS scholarship application may visit the official National Scholarship Portal (NSP) at scholarships.gov.in.

In an official statement, the Board mentioned that only 3148 have registered for renewal of application. A list of eligible renewal candidates is also issued by the Ministry of Education Department. Students who did not apply for renewal of online application on NSP will be able to apply for renewal of scholarships for the subsequent year on NSP if they meet the eligibility requirements for renewal in the academic year 2023-24.

CSSS application renewal: How to apply

Candidates may follow the steps listed below to apply for CSSS application renewal on NSP:

Step 1: Go to the official website, scholarships.gov.in.

Step 2: On the homepage, go to the application corner.

Step 3: Now, click on the link that reads "Renewal Application".

Step 4: The link will be redirected to a new login page.

Step 5: In the input field, enter registered credentials such as application ID and password.

Step 6: Click on the specific scholarship.

Step 7: Enter the revised details of the candidate.

Step 8: Upload the documents.

Step 9: Deposit the requisite amount of fee, if required.

Step 10: Click on "Apply for Renewal".

Step 11: Save and take a printout of the confirmation page.

According to the official statement issued by Telangana Board, “All the stakeholders- students in particular, parents, lecturers and principals in general, who would like to renewal the CSS of national scholarship of the Ministry of Human Resource Development of govt of India are hereby informed that, 9068 applicants in the Telangana state under MoE CSS for meritorious students are eligible for renewal of their scholarships subject to satisfactory completion of their previous academic year.”
