National Award To Teachers 2023: President Murmu to confer 75 educators tomorrow
The lecturers have received directions to plan their arrival. The Ministry informed that the boarding and lodging arrangements of the awardees have been made at The Ashok Hotel from September 3 to September 5. The teachers will be briefed on September 3.
National Award to Teachers 2023: The Ministry of Education is all set to award a total of 13 college professors for the National Award to Teachers 2023 for higher education, 50 school teachers and 12 from the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship. The awards will be conferred by the President of India, Droupadi Murmu.
The MoE releases a list of selected lecturers. These lecturers will be awarded on Teachers’ Day 2023, i.e. on September 5. The awardees will get INR 50,000 cash and a silver medal and the ceremony will be held at Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi.

Moreover, awardees will get to and fro air travel for themselves and one partner. This year, MoE introduced a new category of awards for teachers of Industrial Training Institutes (ITIs) and polytechnic institutes. The award has been divided into two major categories and several sub-categories.
