NIIT University invites applications for AY 2023; Offers scholarships, special fee waivers

Admissions open for BTech programmes in Biotechnology, Cyber Security, Computer Science & Engineering, Data Science, Electronics & Communication Engineering, 5-year integrated MTech programme, 5-year Integrated MSc in Computer Science and a unique 3-year BBA as well as a 4-year Integrated Masters in Business Administration

NIIT University (NU), has announced admissions for the academic year 2023 for a range of programmes. Students’ after class XII, can seek admission in BTech programmes in Data Science, Cyber Security, Computer Science & Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Biotechnology; 5-year integrated MTech programme; 3-year BBA and Integrated Masters in Business Administration (iMBA).

With the thrust on making students job-ready, NU has made hands-on in the industry a critical part of the coursework for all the programmes in the form of industry-originated classroom projects, summer internships and the flagship six-month course – the Industry Practice. NU’s BTech programmes, in fact, give 35% weightage to practical learning opportunities. NU’s Centre for Industrial Collaboration (CIC) invites leading companies to participate in the University’s summer internship and Industry Practice programmes and ensures that the students find the right fit to their chosen career path.

NU offers scholarships to students on the basis of either the student’s academic performance in class 10 and class 12 or their performance in national level specified entrance examinations. Annual Scholarships ranging between Rs. 50,000/- to Rs. 2,00,000/- on the tuition fee is offered to students’ basis their merit. A Special Scholarship is extended to exceptional merit holders and top performers in the country that provides a full tuition fee waiver in each programme. Scholarships called CoX are also offered to applicants who have demonstrated excellence in any area of Co-Curricular activities. Special Fee Waivers on tuition fee are offered to students if they meet any one of the specified criteria mentioned above.
