Plaksha University and Penn Engineering's five-year academic collaboration aims to boost global research, faculty and student exchanges, joint research projects and internship opportunities.

Plaksha University has signed a memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Penn Engineering, one of the 12 schools within the University of Pennsylvania. The alliance between Palksha University and Penn Engineering consist of a five-year collaboration with an aim to boost global research, faculty and student exchanges, joint research projects and internship opportunities. Through the partnership, the institutions will conduct student exchange, research exchange, faculty exchange as well as global research. 

"The partnership with Penn Engineering represents a milestone for Plaksha. By combining our strengths and resources, we are creating a strong framework for collaborative research and academic exchange that will enrich our faculty and students alike. We are excited about the opportunities this partnership will unlock.” says Prof. Rudra Pratap, Plaksha University’s Founding Vice-Chancellor.

The partnership between Penn Engineering and Plaksha University will focus on several important areas including the exchange of students, faculty, knowledge and other global projects. Both institutions will jointly work on information, publications, the collective impact of research and development and the implementation of cooperative research and educational programs.

“This new partnership with Plaksha University provides an exciting opportunity for us to engage with a diverse group of talented Indian students and faculty,” says Prof. Vijay Kumar, Nemirovsky Family Dean of Penn Engineering.
