Pondicherry University Admissions 2023 to 4-year ITEP courses, BA BEd, BSc BEd, through NCET score

Pondicherry University has launched a four-year integrated teacher education programme recognised by the National Council of Teacher Education from the academic year 2023-24. Candidates must note that Pondicherry University admissions 2023 to BA BEd and BSc BEd will be offered based on National Common Entrance Test (NCET 2023) score. NCET 2023 is conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA).

NCET registration 2023 Open

Meanwhile, the NTA has already commenced the NCET registration process 2023. Aspirants seeking admission to the 4-year ITEP course at Pondicherry University have to apply for the NCET exam by July 19. The NCET exam date 2023 will be announced soon by the NTA. The hall ticket will be issued three days before the exam, according to the official notification read.

The NTA will conduct the NCET 2023 eligibility test in 13 languages, Assamese, Bengali, English, Gujarati, Hindi, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Punjabi, Odia, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu. Check NCET 2023 syllabus below.

Language: Language to be tested through reading comprehension, literary aptitude, and vocabulary

Domain Subject: As per Class 12 syllabus only.

General Test: General knowledge, current affairs, general mental ability, numerical ability, quantitative reasoning, logical and analytical reasoning. “Stage Specialization (5+3+3+4): Each student will specialize in one of the following school stages which will qualify them to become teachers of that stage,” the NTA said.

• Foundational Stage Specialization (for teaching Pre-School to Grade 2)
• Preparatory Stage Specialization (for teaching Grades 3 to Grade 5)
• Middle Stage Specialization (for teaching Grades 6 to Grade 8)
• Secondary Stage Specialization (for teaching Grades 9 to Grade 12)
