Central University of Jharkhand: The President of India, Droupadi Murmu, honoured and delivered a speech at the third convocation of the Central University of Jharkhand in Ranchi. In her address, the President highlighted the pivotal role of the youth in India's future, describing them as the nation's greatest asset and most significant investment. She pointed out that India boasts one of the largest youth populations globally. 

Currently, India stands as the fifth-largest economy in the world, with projections indicating a rise to the third-largest by 2030. The goal is to transform India into a developed nation by 2047. Given this, she emphasised that the youth are not just brimming with tremendous potential to shape a prosperous future but are also placed in an advantageous position to achieve it.

The President conveyed to the students that their obligations extend beyond crafting a fulfilling personal life, they bear a moral duty to significantly contribute to the development of society and the nation. She encouraged them to commit themselves to not only strive for a prosperous and advanced India but also to foster a society characterized by harmony and dignity for all individuals. 

Moreover, she urged them to consistently consider the impact of their actions on the upliftment of the backward and deprived segments of the community, ensuring their efforts contribute positively to those less fortunate. The President was happy to note that this campus of the Central University of Jharkhand has been designed keeping in mind green architecture principles.
