Ram Temple Ayodhya: A Symbol of India's Identity and Pride, Says Delhi University VC

The forthcoming inauguration of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya, set to take place on January 22, 2024, has been hailed by Professor Yogesh Singh, the Vice Chancellor of the University of Delhi, as a significant moment etched in India's history. The idols of Lord Ram are poised to be ceremoniously installed within the sanctum sanctorum of the temple on this auspicious day.
Prof. Yogesh Singh, expressing his enthusiasm after receiving an invitation for the inauguration from Advocate Alok Kumar, the International Working President of Vishwa Hindu Parishad, remarked that the Ram Temple stands as a profound symbol of India's identity and pride. Acknowledging the honor of being invited to the Ram Lalla Pran Pratishtha program, the Vice Chancellor emphasized the importance of the event, stating that it should be recognized not merely as a ritual but as a momentous occasion that encapsulates India's rich cultural heritage.
Highlighting the broader significance of the event, Prof. Yogesh Singh stated, "January 22, 2024, will prove to be a day to be written in the history of India when the world will witness India's identity, resolve, and glory." Expressing gratitude for the invitation extended by Advocate Alok Kumar, he said, "I feel very fortunate that they have extended me such an invitation here. For this, I express my heartfelt gratitude to him."
The Vice Chancellor underscored the University of Delhi's wholehearted association with this historic campaign, expressing that it is a matter of great honor for the institution to be part of this cultural milestone.
On January 22, 2024, the installation of Lord Ram's idols within the temple's sanctum sanctorum is expected to be attended by dignitaries, including Prime Minister Narendra Modi, BJP leaders, prominent actors, sports stars, celebrities, and thousands of saints, making it a grand and significant event in Ayodhya.
