Rishihood University Signs MoU With OMI Foundation To Set Up Centre of Excellence on Sustainable Mobility Solutions

The MoU between Rishihood University and OMI Foundation aims to achieve sustainable mobility, inclusive transportation, clean energy solutions, the future of work, and urban and rural planning.

Rishihood University and OMI Foundation have signed an MoU to inaugurate a Centre of Excellence at the university’s campus in Sonipat. The MoU will focus on accelerating the adoption of sustainable mobility solutions in India and abroad. The Centre of Excellence will serve as a particular area for research, knowledge exchange and innovation in the field of mobility.   

The collaboration will also facilitate joint research endeavours strived at promoting sustainable mobility solutions, upgrading the adoption of clean energy sources, exploring the future of work in the platform economy,  enhancing accessibility in transportation, and devising comprehensive urban and rural planning strategies.

Students Will Have Access to Research Programmes

Rishihood University students will have access to research programmes offered by OMI Foundation. This will increase their confidence by enabling them to participate in live projects, dissertations, or capstone projects. Subsequently, this will empower students to gain valuable insights and contribute to real-world impact. There will be an exchange of resources, joint research, and collaboration on capacity-building initiatives such as workshops, seminars, and public events.
