The Veer Bahadur Singh Purvanchal University, Jaunpur, is accepting direct admission to its Undergraduate (UG) and Postgraduate (PG) courses offered. Admission to the courses will be done on the basis of merit i.e. marks secured in the qualifying examination. The application window is open and students who are interested in applying online for admission can register themselves now. The Purvanchal University Common Entrance Test (PUCAT) has been scrapped due to the impact of COVID-19 pandemic and for the 2020-21 academic year, admission will be done on the basis of merit.

Students who have already applied before the results were released, can also upload their documents by logging in by entering their credentials such as application number and date of birth. The official dates for the last date to apply, the release of the merit lists and counselling sessions will be notified soon by the varsity.

Earlier, for admission to all programmes and courses, candidates were offered admission on the basis rank and marks secured in the PUCAT. However, this year has been made an exception due to the pandemic.

How to Apply for Admission

Candidates can follow the below-mentioned steps on how to apply for admission to the Veer Bahadur Singh Purvanchal University which is as follows:

Step 1: The aspirant will first have to visit the official website of V.B.S Purvanchal University.

Step 2: On landing on the homepage, the candidate will have to search for the link ‘Examination Forms’.

Step 3: On clicking on the link, the candidate will be directed to the admissions page where they will have to register for the programme interested in applying for.

Step 4: Enter the basic information such as personal and academic details.

Step 5: Upload the images according to the size and dimensions mentioned in the application form.

Step 6: Upload your mark sheets. Ensure that all information on the mark sheets is visible.

Step 7: Once all the information has been uploaded, proceed to pay the application fee.

Step 8: The candidate has to pay the application fee via online mode i.e. net banking/credit card/debit card/UPI payment.

Step 9: Once the payment has been made, the candidate will receive a confirmation mail.
