They have alleged that the GB of CVS has passed a resolution of closing an ongoing inquiry into the infamous library scam by a retired Justice of the High Court and former Director of enforcement directorate refusing to table the Report of Justice Gaur

Some of the faculty members of the College of Vocational Studies (CVS), University of Delhi have sent a letter to the President of India urging her to remove the Principal and Chairman of the Governing Body till the inquiry of CVC is completed.

These faculty members have also sent emails to the President, who is also the Visitor of Delhi University regarding alleged corruption in the College of Vocational Studies, which according to them is masterminded by the Principal Dr. Inderjeet Dagar, the Chairman of the CVS Governing Body (GB) with appropriate ‘protection’ by certain officials in the University of Delhi.

In their letter to the President, these teachers have alleged that despite their complaint there has been no change in the attitude of our Governing Body. They have alleged that the GB of CVS has passed a resolution of closing an ongoing inquiry into the infamous library scam by a retired Justice of the High Court and former Director of enforcement directorate refusing to table the Report of Justice Gaur on the massive financial irregularities which are with the Chairman GB Sangeet Ragi since 4th October 2022.

As per the letter, the Chairman has further instructed all the members not to share the minutes of the Governing Body Meeting with any teachers.

In their email to President, the teachers have also stated that the DU administration has also taken the issue seriously. “We have informed Vice-Chancellor on 27th March regarding this unpleasant move by
the Chairman but nothing happened so far. The irony is that despite all his illegalities our executive council is giving Chairman, GB an extension for six months,” the email reads.

They have also alleged that the situation of their college is worsening day by day. As per the allegations, the Principal (under inquiry) in tandem with the Chairman of the Governing Body have an urgent agenda of filling up 106 teaching vacancies by violating the roster.

The teachers have also alleged that a Scheduled Tribe category teacher in employment for the last 7 years has been removed from the roster. A few more teachers are facing similar problems.

“There is complete anarchy in the college and inaction by the authorities is making them more confident. It's our folded-handed request to please intervene in this case and save our college from getting ruined by a corrupt Principal and Chairman, GB,” reads the email to President Droupadi Murmu.

The teachers have demanded an order to suspend/ remove the Principal and Chairman, GB till the inquiry of CVC is completed. To allow to conduct the recruitment process only after the correction in the teaching roster or till the outcome of a petition pending in the High court of Delhi challenging the faulty roster for the larger benefit of SC/ ST candidates.

They have also demanded not to close any ongoing inquiry related to corruption and immediate action on Justice Gaur's report related to massive financial irregularities by the Principal.
