Wipro, Centre for Brain Research at IISc Collaborates for AI-Driven Health Behavior Innovations
The collaboration will advance R&D for precision health and well-being at the population scale. Further, the personal care engine will focus on reducing and managing the risk of cardiovascular disease and correlated neurodegenerative disorders.
Wipro Limited collaborated with the Centre for Brain Research (CBR) hosted at the Indian Institute of Science (IISc). The collaboration aims to increase the power of artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning (ML), and big data analytics to develop new technologies that will cater to the prevention and management of long-term health disorders
Wipro’s research & development (R&D) team is engaged in developing a personal care engine. This technology will analyse an individual’s health history, desired health state, and other behavioural responses. The analysis will help to promote healthful ageing, buoyant lifestyle changes, and psycho-social well-being.
Wipro is going to evaluate the machine through a digital app-based trial in collaboration with CBR at IISc. Further, it will unlock new possibilities for patient care and cognitive and overall health
The CTO of Wipro Limited shared their delight in collaborating with CBR and IISc for the betterment of society.
“Wipro is committed to transforming the landscape of healthcare through technological innovation, and we are delighted to be partnering with the CBR and IISc on this journey. Our personal care engine enables wide-ranging applications and benefits for health management. It has the potential to mitigate lifestyle-related conditions and even enhance cognitive and psychosocial functioning.” Says Subha Tatavarti, Chief Technology Officer of Wipro Limited.
Speaking about the importance of partnership, The director of the Centre of Brain Research shared the future prospects and overall growth.
“Working with Wipro allows us to amplify our scientific expertise through large-scale digital applications. This partnership will accelerate the path from research to real-world solutions in cognitive and overall health.” Says K.V.S. Hari, Director, Centre for Brain Research.
