IIM Calcutta Final Placements 2022: Median salary stood at INR 31 LPA

More than 190 companies participated in IIM-Calcutta Final Placements 2022. A total of 631 offers were rolled during the recruitment process. 

IIM Calcutta Placement 2022: The final placements process has been successfully concluded at the Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Calcutta for its 57th batch. According to the official information shared by the institute, IIM-C Placements 2022 witnessed 100 per cent recruitment record. Amid the ongoing pandemic situation, the b-school conducted the entire process virtually. A total of 465 students got placements during the final placements of IIM-Calcutta.

IIM Calcutta recorded its highest-ever average CTC

More than 190 companies participated in IIM-Calcutta Final Placements 2022. A total of 631 offers were rolled during the recruitment process, the institute said. IIM Calcutta recorded its highest-ever average cost to company (CTC) at INR 34.2 lakh per annum (LPA), while the median salary for the process stood at INR 31 LPA.

Highest Offers received from Consulting domain

The consulting sector once again emerged as the top recruiter, with 49 per cent of offers being raised in the domain. Accenture Strategy, Bain & Company, Boston Consulting Group, EY Parthenon, and McKinsey & Company were some of the top recruiters in this domain.

Proving the mettle of the institution in the finance domain, Marquee Asset Management, Investment Banking, and Private Equity-Venture Capital firms made 18 per cent offers once again. Goldman Sachs and Avendus made the highest offers within this cohort. 14 per cent of the offers were rolled out in the General Management and Marketing domain led by prominent recruiters such as Hindustan Unilever Limited, ITC, Nestle, Procter & Gamble, Tata Administrative Services, amongst others.

19 per cent of overall offers were rolled out by the top recruiters including Amazon, Flipkart, Microsoft and Paytm, among others, i.e. the Product Management and Operations domains.

IIM Calcutta also witnessed the participation of several new recruiters during this placement drive, such as IIFL, Nykaa, Premji Invest, Rothschild, Zomato, and international offers from Emaar, Protiviti, etc.
