IISER admissions 2022 begins for MSc programme; Apply by July 25

IISER Admissions 2022: Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER), Vithura, Thiruvananthapuram, has commenced the admission application process for its 2-year MSc programme in the Schools of Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics and Physics. Applications are invited for the session starting in August 2022 (Varsha 2022 semester).
Interested candidates may submit the applications online at http://appserv.iisertvm.ac.in/msc/ latest by May 31, 2022. No application will be accepted without application fees of INR 1000/- (INR 500/- for applicants belonging to SC/ST categories). The list of selected candidates will be published on July 7, 2022. The last date to apply for IISER MSc programme is July 25, 2022. Those selected have to arrive at the campus on July 30, 2022.
IISER MSc Admissions 2022 Eligibility Criteria
For admission to the IISER MSc programme applicant must hold a 3 or 4 Year Bachelor’s degree in Sciences/ Engineering/ Mathematics or other relevant disciplines with a minimum of 60% (or a CGPA of 6.5 on a 10-point scale). SC/ST and PwD candidates must possess a degree with at least 50% aggregate (or a CGPA of 5.5 on a 10-point scale).
Candidates fulfilling the eligibility criteria will be shortlisted to appear for an online, proctored screening test scheduled on June 11, 2022. The screening test will be held in English. Based on the performance in the screening test, candidates will be shortlisted and then selected after interviews scheduled between June 20 and June 30, 2022.
Candidates may check the syllabi for screening tests and interviews in Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics and Physics at the Program admission link, i.e. https://www.iisertvm.ac.in/ The institute offers 20 seats in each School for the 2-year MSc program. Selections will follow all reservation norms of the government of India.
