IIT Bombay alumni Fintech Summit 2022 to begin tomorrow

The two-day event themed “India: Global Fintech Destination?” will be held in virtual mode. The inaugural keynote will be delivered by Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman on March 11.

The Indian Institute of Technology Bombay Alumni Association (IITBAA) will hold FinTech Summit on March 11 and 12 in virtual mode. IITBAA is a Section 8 not-for-profit company licensed under the Companies Act, 2013. Founded in 2001, it works to connect alumni and support students through events, programmes and services.  

Themed “India: Global Fintech Destination?”, FinTech Summit 2022 will bring together speakers and panellists representing diverse areas of the FinTech industry — Financial markets, investments in fintech, payment gateway, BNPL (buy now, pay later), insuretch.  

The inaugural keynote will be delivered by Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman on March 11 at 3.45 pm, while Dinesh Kumar Khara, Chairman and Managing Director, State Bank of India, will deliver the keynote address on March 12 at 9.30 am.  

Other marquee names include Milind Kulkarni (CEO, FinIQ), Alok Bansal (CFO, Policy Bazaar), Gaurav Hinduja (Co-founder & CEO, Capital Float), Hitesh Sachdev (Head- Start-up Engagement, Innovation & Investments, ICICI Investments), Karthik Ganapathy (Founder, Bill Desk), Pratik Poddar (Partner, Nexus Ventures), Sandeep Asthana (MD, Sunlife India), Sridhar Subbaraman (Founder & Owner, Oasis Insurance Group), Sweta Rau (Founder & PM - Early Stage Fintech Fund, White Venture Capital), Yezdi Lashkari (Founder & CEO, Flexmoney Technologies) and Raghu Subramanian (Chairman & CEO, Actyv.ai). The summit will be livestreamed on the official YouTube channel of at IITBAA, “IIT Bombay Alumni Association”.
