Indian Institutes of Technology (IIT) Delhi and the Haryana government have signed an agreement to guide students of Haryana in startups and research.

Indian Institutes of Technology (IIT) Delhi and the Haryana government have joined forces to guide the students of universities and colleges of Haryana on startups and help them in doing research. 

Under this agreement, an outreach program will be organised on Saturday at IIT Sonepat in which student clubs of colleges of Haryana will participate, as reported by News Lead India.

Students created products to be displayed at the event, says IIT Delhi

The administration of the engineering college said that the students have taken initiative towards solving various problems including environmental pollution and have created many products, which will be displayed at the program. Sodium-ion battery and Covid detection kit made by IIT will also be displayed and the team from the recently concluded Robocan will also join in. Discussions will be held on agricultural residues, medical technology, health sector challenges, green energy, air pollution and climate change, and quantum technology. 

IIT Delhi to train soldiers in operating drones

IIT Delhi is all set to develop a Drone Technology Park at the Sonepat campus where research will be done on various aspects of drones and training will be provided to the new pilot. If any company wants to test the drone, then it will also be provided at the Drone Technology Park. Also, at the request of security agencies, training programs will be organized, in which the soldiers will be trained to operate drones.
