IIT Guwahati admissions 2022 begin for Free online course on Artificial Intelligence; Apply by Aug 1
Candidates must note that IIT Guwahati Free Online Course on Artificial Intelligence will be available on the NPTEL platform from 25 July to 14 October 2022. The last date to apply for IIT Guwahati free AI course is August 1, 2022.
IIT Guwahati Admissions 2022: Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Guwahati has commenced the application process for a free online course on artificial intelligence, i.e. ‘fundamentals of artificial intelligence' for students and professionals. Spread over 12 weeks, the course will render a basic understanding of problem-solving, knowledge representation, reasoning and learning methods of artificial intelligence to the students. 3 credit points will be rewarded to students who complete the course successfully.
Shyamanta M Hazarika, professor of mechanical engineering at IIT Guwahati and lead of the Biomimetic Robotics and Artificial Intelligence Lab will conduct the course.
Last date to apply is August 1
Candidates must note that IIT Guwahati Free Online Course on Artificial Intelligence will be available on the NPTEL platform from 25 July to 14 October 2022. The last date to apply for IIT Guwahati free AI course is August 1, 2022. Interested participants will have to enrol on the platform by using their Facebook, Swayam, Microsoft, or Google accounts. Those who wish to obtain certificates with NPTEL and IIT Guwahati logos will have to appear for an examination on October 29, 2022 by paying INR 1000.

IIT Guwahati Free Online Course on Artificial Intelligence is suitable for candidates pursuing their final year BTech, MTech, and PhD with a basic knowledge in probability and linear algebra. Some of the categories that the course would be most relevant for would be Mechanical engineering, Multidisciplinary, Robotics.
Under IIT Guwahati Free Online Course on Artificial Intelligence students will get an overview of the principles and practices of AI to address complex real-world problems. The course will cover various topics such as Artificial intelligence and problem solving by search, Problem-solving by search, Problem-solving by search, Knowledge representation and reasoning, Knowledge representation and reasoning, Knowledge representation and reasoning, Reasoning under uncertainty, Planning, Planning and decision-making and Machine learning.
