The admit card release date of IIT JAM 2022 has been postponed from January 4 until further notice. The exam is scheduled to be held on February 13. Know the details here.

IIT JAM 2022 admit card release date has been postponed by IIT Roorkee until further notice. Originally the date of releasing the hall ticket was January 4, 2022. As per the official website of the exam, the date of releasing the admit card of IIT JAM 2022 will be announced shortly. The exam will be conducted on February 13 in a computer-based mode (CBT) in 82 cities across India for seven papers.

The application process of IIT JAM 2022 ended on October 14. The application correction window was open from October 20 to October 25. The process to download the IIT JAM 2022 admit card is given below.

How to Download IIT JAM 2022 Admit Card

Candidates will have to follow the steps given below to download the admit card of IIT JAM 2022:

  • Visit the official website of IIT JAM 2022

  • Click on the link indicating IIT JAM 2022 admit card

  • Enter registration number and password

  • Download the admit card in PDF format

After downloading the admit card, candidates must take two to three printouts and preserve it till the admission process is concluded.

The following details will be mentioned on the admit card:

  • Candidate's name

  • Registration number

  • Exam date and time

  • Test paper name

  • Test paper code

  • Candidate photograph

  • Candidate signature

  • Exam centre address

  • Parent/guardian's contact number

  • Organising Chairman's Signature

  • Exam day instructions

IIT Roorkee has not stated the reason for postponing the admit card release but there is a possibility that due to the spike in the number of COVID-19 cases, the exam may also get postponed from the original date. The seven subjects of the exam are Biotechnology (BT), Chemistry (CY), Economics (EN), Geology (GG), Mathematics (MA), Mathematical Statistics (MS) and Physics (PH).
