NIFT Entrance Exam 2025 Registration with Late Fee (Closes Soon) Live Update: Apply Online @nift.ac.in

To apply for NIFT 2025, keep the following particulars handy:

• Email ID

• Personal details, including address for communication, date of birth, category, etc.

The NTA will open the window to edit the NIFT 2025 application form on January 10; the last date to make corrections is January 12, 2025.

Using the edit option, the candidate can make corrections to particulars entered in the NIFT 2025 application form.

The National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) has been granted statutory status under the Act of Parliament of India in 2006. The Institute is thus empowered to award degrees and other academic distinctions.

NIFT is also a member of the Association of Indian Universities (AIU).

If you are applying for the UG program, you can opt for both B Des and B.F.Tech Programs. 

Note that the NIFT 2025 eligibility criteria are specific. So, make sure you meet the eligibility conditions. 

PG candidates, however, can apply for only one program.

The NIFT 2025 exam has two components. GAT and CAT.

The GAT exam is mandatory for all candidates. However, only B.Des and M.Des candidates need to take the CAT.

CAT stands for Creative Ability Test.

The candidate can edit their choice of exam center at the time of the NIFT 2025 application correction window. After the window closes, no further changes to the exam center will be entertained.

The list of NIFT 2025 exam cities is mentioned in the NIFT 2025 information brochure. In the current edition, the written exam will be held in 82 cities.

You can select their choice of exam center when filling out the form. The exam cities have to be selected from the drop-down menu.

NIFT 2025 entrance exam comprises two stages:

The full form of NLEA is NIFT Lateral Entry Admission. This scheme allows candidates direct admission to the 3rd semester of a UG program.

If you meet the NLEA eligibility criteria, apply before the last date.

To apply for admission through the NLEA route, you must have a Diploma in a related field of Design and technology.

The Fashion Interior (FI) program has a combined intake of 41 seats.This include 34 All-India seats, and 7 state-domicile seats.

State domicile seats are available only for candidates who have domicile for the state, while all-India seats are open to all candidates.

The NIFTs have newly introduced the Fashion Interior (FI) program. It is a 4-year B.Des course that will be open to candidates based on NIFT 2025 merit rank. 

The NIFTs offer the following B.Des specializations:

• Textile Design (TD)
• Knitwear Design (KD)
• Fashion Communication (FC)

The NTA will conduct the NIFT 2025 written exams on February 9, 2025. The exam will be held in a center-based mode in 82 cities across India. 

The candidate can select the exam city when filling out the form.

The NIFT 2025 exam will be conducted by the National Testing Agency.

The NIFT application form 2025 with regular fees was open from November 22 - January 6, 2025. The application form was open online.

Candidates can now apply with a late fee until January 9.

The application form for NIFT 2025 with late fees is open from January 7-9, 2025.

The late fee is INR 5000.

This fee is in addition to the application fee.
