IIT JAM 2022 Travel Pass Issued by IIT Roorkee

IIT Roorkee, the exam conducting authority for IIT JAM 2022 has released a travel pass or an official letter for the candidates who would be appearing for the exam on February 13. The exam officials have stated that candidates need to carry a copy of the official letter along with the IIT JAM 2022 admit card. This would ensure the facilitation of smooth movement to the IIT JAM exam centre. Owing to the pandemic situation in the country, there may be travel restrictions in several places. Carrying the letter or the IIT JAM 2022 travel pass would ensure smooth movement to the exam centre.

The letter states, “Candidates will appear in Test Centres across the country for JAM 2022. This letter is issued to request all concerned to help and ensure a smooth movement of the candidates carrying the Admit Card on the day of the examination, i.e. 13^th February 2022 (Sunday).”

The exam will be conducted in 103 cities across India in a computer-based mode (CBT). Approximately six lakh candidates are expected to appear for the exam. IIT JAM 2022 will be conducted for seven subjects which are Biotechnology (BT), Chemistry (CY), Economics (EN), Geology (GG), Mathematics (MA), Mathematical Statistics (MS) and Physics (PH).

The duration of the exam is three hours, which is scheduled in two slots, from 9 am to 12 noon and 3.30 pm to 6.30 pm. IIT JAM 2022 will be conducted in 103 cities across India. The result will be declared on March 22.
