IIT JAM 2025 Modification Window Open Till November 18, 2024
Successfully registered candidates of the IIT JAM 2025 application get an opportunity to modify the details that were earlier filled incorrectly in the JAM 2025 application form. The last date to change the examination Cities /Test Papers /Category /Gender is November 18, 2024. IIT Delhi started the IIT JAM 2025 Registration process for the candidates wishing to get admission to the master's degree programme on September 3, 2024.
IIT JAM 2025 applicants will be able to modify these details by logging in to their registered accounts at the JOAPS portal with the help of login credentials i.e, username and password.
How to Make Corrections/Modifications in IIT JAM 2025 Application Form
Only those candidates who have submitted the application form and paid the requisite application fee will be eligible to make the changes in the application form.

JAM 2025 examination will be offering MSc and integrated PhD degree programmes in seven subjects at various IITs and other JAM 2025 result-sharing institutes. IIT JAM 2025 exam will be held on February 2, 2025 in two shifts at around 110+ exam centres across the nation. The test taker's domain knowledge, analytical and critical skills will be put to the test in the form of multiple choice questions (MCQs), multiple select questions (MSQs) and numerical answer type (NAT).
Q: How to select IIT JAM exam city?
Candidates will have to select the IIT JAM exam centre city while filling out the application form. They will have to enter as many as two exam cities in preferential order. NTA will try to allot the exam centre according to candidates preferences. However, the final decision will be made by the exam authorities.
Candidates has to follow the steps given below to select the exam city of JAM 2025:
1. Visit the JAM 2025 website.
2. In the Exam City Preference section of the JAM 2024 application form, select three cities in preferential order.
3. Complete the application process by paying the requisite application fee. The exam city preference can be changed during the application correction window.
Q: Will marks be deducted for unanswered questions in IIT JAM 2024?
According to the IIT JAM 2024 exam pattern, there will be no deduction of marks for unanswered questions. Such questions will not be taken into consideration while calculating the total marks of a candidate. Hence, if candidates are not sure about the answer of a question, it is better to leave it unattempted rather than doing a guess work, to avoid negative marking. Also, candidates are advised to revise the JAM exam sheet on the computer screen before submitting it .
Q: When will the IIT JAM 2025 examination be conducted?
Joint Admission test for Masters (JAM) has been established as a benchmark for the undergraduate level Science education in the country from last two decades. The objective of JAM is to provide admissions to Post- graduate Degree Programmes and to consolidate Science as a career option for the students across the country.
IIT JAM 2025 examination for the academic session 2025-2026 will be conducted by IIT Delhi, the examination conducting body.
