IIT Madras invites applications for free course on artificial intelligence

The course will be conducted from January 24 to April 15, 2022, and the last date to apply is January 31, 2022.  

The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Madras has invited applications from students for a free online course on artificial intelligence called “Artificial Intelligence: Knowledge Representation And Reasoning”.  

The 12-week course starts with a simple language of propositions and moves on to first order logic, representations for reasoning about action, change, situations and about other agents in incomplete information situations. The applicant should have basic knowledge of formal languages, logic and programming.

The course is free to enrol and learn from. But the participant wants a certificate, he/she has to register and write the proctored exam conducted by the institute at any of the designated exam centres. The exam is optional for a fee of INR 1,000. 

Who can take up this course? 

Those pursuing BE, ME, MSc, MS, PhD degree can take up this course. The course will be conducted from January 24 to April 15, 2022, and the last date to apply is January 31, 2022.
