AIIMS has updated that candidates who completed the required 12 months of compulsory rotating Internship/Practical training on or before June 30, 2022, are eligible for admission to PGIMER, Chandigarh.

All India Institute Of Medical Science (AIIMS) has notified that as per the communication received from Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER) Chandigarh, the candidates who have completed the required 12 months of compulsory rotating Internship/Practical training on or before June 30, 2022, are eligible for admission to PGIMER, Chandigarh.

The official notification reads, "Those candidates who have completed the required period of 12 months compulsory rotating Internship/Practical training on or before June 30, 2022, are eligible for admission for PG courses at PGIMER, Chandigarh."

INI-CET July 2022 session: Prospectus guideline modified

As per the prospectus, Part A of INI-CET for admission to PG courses of INIs for July 2022 session Page 4, Section-IV, "Eligibility for appearing in INI-CET," Para-A, Part (i), "Candidate must have completed the required period of 12 months compulsory rotating Internship/Practical training on or before July 31, 2022." However, after this new notification, those who complete an internship after June 30, 2022, are not eligible for admission to PG courses of INIs at PGIMER Chandigarh for the July 2022 session.

INI CET 2022 July session exam will be conducted on May 8 in a computer-based mode in a single session, from 9 am to 12 pm. The final registration started on January 25 with the generation of the Examination Unique Code (EUC). AIIMS is the conducting body for INI CET 2022 for admission to PG courses such as Masters of Surgery (MS), Doctor of Medicine (MD), Master of Dental Surgery (MDS), and Doctorate of Medicine (DM), and Master of Chirurgiae (MCh).
