PGIMER PhD Admission 2025

The Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER) Chandigarh has announced the PhD counselling dates for the January 2025 session at the official website. Students who have appeared for the PhD entrance test can now check the PGIMER 2025 PhD admission date. As per the notification, the PGIMER PhD counselling date 2025 for January session is December 30, 2024. Students who will be named on the merit list will have to appear for the counselling process at 3 PM in the APC Auditorium of PGIMER Chandigarh. 

"Counseling for admission to PhD course for the January 2025 session is scheduled on 30.12.2024 at 3:00 PM in the APC Auditorium, PGIMER, Chandigarh. A list of provisional qualified candidates on the basis of merit in the entrance exam will be displayed on the PGI website shortly." The official notification reads. 

PGIMER 2025 Counselling Process: Students Exempted from Entrance Test

The authorities conducted the entrance examination for PhD admissions. However, candidates carrying fellowships from various funding agencies and in-service medical faculty of PGI were exempted from appearing in the entrance test. The students who have been exempted from the entrance test have to appear for the counselling process directly. 

Documents Required for PGIMER PhD Admission 2025

Students need to carry their personal and academic documents in order to complete the counselling process. The documents such as valid ID proof, date of birth certificate, educational qualification documents, sponsorship certificate (If required) and NOC from the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare (if required) shall be submitted for admission purposes.
