NIMCET 2020 Counselling: Online verification for first round begins

NIMCET Counselling 2020 - The online verification of documents for first round of NIMCET counselling process 2020 has started from December 02 and will end on December 07. National Institute of Technology Raipur which is a conducting body for NIMCET this year, started the NIMCET 2020 counselling process from November 17.

The complete schedule has been released on the official website of NIMCET. As per the official notification, candidates will be required to attend the NIMCET counselling as per the ranks provided by the authority.

NIMCET 2020 Counselling Process

Registration and Choice Filling & Locking: In this process candidates are required to register themselves by entering their login & password and fill their respective choices of colleges according to their preferences.

Seat Allotment & Personally Reporting: Candidates will get seats on the basis of filled choices filled and their NIMCET rank. If a candidate gets a seat according to the preferences mentioned then they will have to report at the allotted institution within a given time period.

Surrender of the Seats: Candidates who do not want go further with the allotted institution and want to participate to another round of counselling process needs to surrender their previous seat by submitting a prescribed application.

Documents required for NIMCET 2020 online verification

Candidates need to carry the below documents in original with self-attested photocopies for verification at the time of NIMCET counselling:

• NIMCET Application form
• NIMCET 2020 seat allotment letter
• NIMCET 2020 admit card
• NIMCET 2020 Rank Card
• Date of Birth Proof i.e. 10th marksheet
• 10th & 12th marksheet and passing certificate
• Caste certificate (if applicable)
• Category certificate
• 4 Recent passport size photograph

NIMCET (NIT MCA Common Entrance Test) or National Institute of Technology Master of Computer Applications Common Entrance Test is counducted by one of the participating National Institutes of Technology (NITs). NIMCET is a national level exam, conducted for candidates seeking admission to full time MCA programme. Through this exam, candidates will get admission in all NITs at Agarthala, Allahabad, Bhopal, Calicut, Durgapur, Jamshedpur, Kurukshetra, Raipur, Surathkal, Tiruchirappalli and Warangal.
