The NIMCET 2026 application portal is live, ensuring candidates to apply for the coveted exam. NIMCET 2026 - Step-by-step application guide

Applying for NIMCET is quite easy and is a straightforward process. Here is the step-by-step guide to apply for NIMCET 2026: 

Step 1. Registration for NIMCET 2026
The first step to apply for NIMCET is by visit the official NIMCET website - nimcet.admissions.nic.in and do registration. They must click on "New Registration" link and enter name, email ID, and mobile number to create login credentials.

Step 2. Fill the Application Form of NIMCET 2026
Use the generated credentials such as Application Number and Password to login and fill in your personal details, academic qualifications (10th, 12th, and Graduation marks), and choose preferred test centres in order of priority. 

Step 3. Upload Scanned Documents in Prescribed format
In the next step, candidates must upload scanned copies of their documents such as -

  • Recent passport-size photograph and signature.
  • ID Proof (Aadhaar Card/PAN).
  • Mark sheets and Category certificates (if applicable), as per the prescribed format. 

4. Pay the NIMCET 2026 application Fee 
The last step is to pay the non-refundable application fee online via Net Banking, Credit Card, or Debit Card. 

  • For General/OBC candidates the fee is INR 2,500
  • For candidates belonging to SC/ST/PwD category the application fee is INR 1,250
