Saveetha Engineering College celebrates Graduation Day at its Dental Campus

Saveetha Engineering College celebrated its 15th Graduation Day on Friday and 16th Graduation Day on Saturday at MM Convention Centre, Saveetha Dental Campus. 

Saveetha Engineering College's Graduation Day celebrations started with the academic procession in which the dignitaries including Prof KK Aggarwal, Chairman NBA, S Suresh Babuji, Joint Director and Head of Office, MSME DI – Chennai, Dr NM Veeraiyan, Founder President and Chancellor – SIMATS, Dr S Rajesh, Director – SEC and Dr N Duraipandian Principal and the Heads of various departments were ushered to the accompaniment of the college band into the venue of the function. 

During the event, as many as 948 students from the 2019 batch and 830 students from the 2020 batch received degrees from various branches from the Chief Guest.

Dr NM Veeraiyan said “Fresh graduates of today should identify their specific interests, develop their inquisitiveness and subsequently infuse adaptability into them. This would surely stimulate their minds to update themselves with the recent trends that keep surfacing in the modern world."

Also, he congratulated all the 97% of graduates who are placed in 195 reputed companies through College Placement Cell with the highest CTC of INR 34 Lacs, an average CTC of INR 5.1 Lacs, as reported by The Print.

Admissions open at Saveetha Engineering College for UG and PG programmes

The college has invited applications for UG and PG courses including BE, BTech and PG programmes like ME and MBA. The last date of application is July 31, 2022. Eligibility required for BE/ Bachelor of Technology is the applicants should have passed Class 12 from a recognised board/ institute (For Lateral Entry applicant must have completed education in 10+2+3 pattern), for ME programme, applicants should have Bachelor’s degree in BTech or BE and for MBA, the candidate must have a graduate degree under 10+2+3 or 10+2+4 pattern in any discipline.
