NTA has clearly mentioned that no correction facility will be provided at any stage of the application process.

The National Testing Agency has released the application forms for JEE Mains 2022 first session exam. Candidates can fill the application forms only in online mode from the official website jeemain.nta.nic.in. In a major change brought up by the NTA in the application process, candidates will not be able to make any corrections in the application form once submitted.

NTA has clearly mentioned in the information bulletin of JEE Main 2022 that β€œCandidates are requested to fill in the Application Form very carefully. No corrections will be permitted once the Application Form is submitted.”Candidates are thus advised to fill all the details in the application form correctly as they will not be able to edit them in later stages.

Filling the application form of JEE Main is a three-step process that includes Registration, Filling personal details, Uploading scanned documents and Payment of application fees. Candidates can complete all the stages of the application process at the same time one-by-one or complete the registration part initially and other stages at a later time.

Candidates need to have certain documents that are required for filling the application form. The list includes:

Can I fill another application form in case of mistakes in first form

Candidates are advised not to fill multiple application forms. If any candidate fill more than one application form, NTA will cancel the application form and his/her candidature can be rejected. It is thus strongly advised to fill only one application form.

What to do in case incorrect details entered in the application form

While NTA has not provided any solution to this, the best advice is to fill the application form with utmost care and not make any mistakes while filling the form. Although NTA has mentioned that no correction facility will be provided, there are chances that the correction window will be opened.
