JEE Main 75 Percent Criteria: As the notification for JEE Mains 2022 is likely to be announced soon, students are demanding clarity on the cancellation of 75 per cent marks criteria. There is no notification so far from the Education Ministry and NTA in this regard which is making students worry whether the 75 per cent criteria will be waived off for JEE Main 2022.

The criteria of minimum 75 per cent marks in class 12 for admission in IITs, NITs, IIITs and CFTIs was cancelled for the years 2020 and 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Students are demanding that this criterion should continue for the year 2022 as well due to the hardship students are facing in their studies and exam preparation due to the closure of schools and coachings.

Several students are taking their demands over Twitter and other social media platforms asking NTA and Education Ministry for the cancellation of 75 per cent marks criteria.
