While many new changes have been introduced in JEE Main exam this year, a change in the marking scheme and less number of sessions is what makes students worry about their performance in the exam.
As per the new marking scheme, questions of Numerical Value Answer will also have a negative marking this year. Until 2021, only MCQ based questions had negative marking. With the introduction of the new marking scheme, all 30 questions will be under the ambit of negative marking.
In Paper 1 for BE/BTech, each subject will have a total of 30 questions wherein 20 questions will be MCQ based while 10 questions will be Numerical Value Answer type.
