Parents and guardians willing to enroll their wards in Kendriya Vidyalayas must note that the registration window will remain open until April 16, 2022, up to 4 pm.

Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) has commenced the registration process for Class 2 and above (except Class 11) on April 8, 2022. Parents and guardians willing to enroll their wards in Kendriya Vidyalayas must note that the registration window is all set to close tomorrow, i.e. April 16, 2022, up to 4 pm.

Meanwhile, the KVS admission portal for Class 1 registration is already open. The last date to apply for Class 1 KV admissions 2022 is April 11. The official notification released by KVS states, “The last date for Online Registration for Admission to Class I in Kendriya Vidyalayas for the Academic Year 2022-23 has been extended up to 11.04.2022 (Monday) 07:00 pm.” Earlier, the last date to apply for March 23. Later, KVS rescheduled the dates. For Class 11, registration for admission can be done within 10 days after the declaration of class 10 results.

How to apply for KVS admissions 2022-23?

Parents and guardians may follow the steps given below to apply for KV admissions 2022:

  • Open the official website, i.e. kvsonlineadmission.kvs.gov.in
  • On the homepage, navigate and click on “Click here to proceed for KVS Online Admission portal - Class II"
  • Click on, “Click here to register"
  • Read the instructions
  • Proceed with registration
  • To access the admission application portal, log in on the page
  • Fill in the required details and upload the verified documents
  • Review the form and submit

KVS Admission 2022: Documents Required

The following documents would be necessary while registering for KVS Admission 2022:

  • Age proof
  • Proof of relationship for grandchildren of Members of Parliament and PSU employees, KVS employees
  • Category certificate (SC, ST, etc), if applicable
  • PwD certificate (if applicable)
  • A certificate of retirement for uniformed Defence employees
  • Residence proof
