Applications are open from Jan 17-April 7. NLU Delhi has also notified BA LLB paper will now have three sections. Check the updated syllabi for the two programs

NLU Delhi released the application form of AILET 2022 on January 17. The application form is for admission to the five-year integrated BA LLB, one-year LLM, and PhD courses offered by the university. Candidates who meet the eligibility criteria may duly fill the form and submit it by April 7. The university has made some major changes to the syllabi of AILET 2022 for the BA LLB and LLM programs.

The updated syllabus for the two programs is given below.

AILET 2022 Marking scheme:

  • Objective-type questions - Each question will carry +1 mark. For an incorrect response, -0.25 marks will be deducted.
  • Descriptive questions - Each of the two descriptive questions will carry 25 marks.

Evaluation of Descriptive paper (for LLM):

The descriptive section (or Section B) will be evaluated only for such candidates who have been included in a shortlist.

  1. The shortlist will be prepared by considering Section A scores.
  2. The number of candidates to be included in the shortlist will be THREE times the number of seats available in each category.
