AILET 2023 Answer Keys OUT Soon, Check Exam Analysis, Expected Cutoff

As per guidelines mentioned on the official website of NLU Delhi, there is a paucity of rooms in the hostel. Consequently, newly admitted from the Delhi/NCR region will not be provided with hostel accommodation.

However, students from outside Delhi/ NCR may be considered for allotment of hostel accommodation subject to availability.

The fee for the BA LLB program is divided into three subheads - annual fee, one-time fee, and deposits.

National Law University (NLU), Delhi will release the answer in online mode at its official admission portal - nationallawuniversitydelhi.in.

Candidates can use the answer key to calculate probable scores and thus access their chances of admission. There will also be a provision to challenge the provisional key.

The consortium of NLUs hasn't yet released the official, provisional answer key for AILET 2023 exam. In case the answer key isn't released today, there is a high chance it will be released tomorrow.

The answer key released by NLU Delhi may sometimes contain the wrong keys. In that case, the candidate can challenge the key. Keys can also be challenged if the candidate has any doubts.

The step-wise process to challenge the answer key is outlined below.

1. Go to the AILET 2023 admission portal
2. Click on the answer key objection submission tab (it will be activated once the window opens)
3. You will have to log-in by entering your log-in credentials - AILET 2023 roll number, email id, and mobile number.
4. Once you are logged in, click on the link to tally the questions from the AILET 2023 question booklet
5. Select the objection type using the drop-down menu
6. Upload supporting documents
7. Pay the applicable fee (INR 500 per challenge)
8. Submit the application

1. Go to the AILET 2023 portal - https://nationallawuniversitydelhi.in
2. If the answer key is live, the downlink link will be activated
3. Click on the answer key you want to download (BA LLB, LLM, or Ph.D.)
4. The answer key will be displayed in downloadable pdf format
5. Download the AILET 2023 answer key.

The CLAT 2023 exam will be administered offline mode and will be of two hours duration.

Scores of the exam will be used for admission to 5-year LLB and LLM courses offered by the 23 participating NLUs.

NLU Delhi hasn't released any notification on the release of the provisional answer key for the AILET 2023 exam.

In case the answer key is released, it will be released in the evening, or at the latest by Monday (December 12, 2022).

Rahul Dev (from Faridabad) - BA LLB: 

1. The pattern was completely changed
2. English and logical reasoning were combined.
3. Logical reasoning was easy.
4. The paper was also not lengthy. 
5. Expected cut-off: around 90 marks.

Aastha (East Delhi):

1. Logical was very difficult
2. The pattern was completely changed.
3. GK was very easy, English was easier compared to the previous edition, but Logical reasoning was very difficult. 
4. The logical and English sections were merged; so the number of passages was fewer.
5. The passages were lengthy, but the paper as such was not lengthy.
6. Compared to last year, this year the paper was more difficult.

Aysuh Jaiswal (BA LLB) 

1. The paper was of moderate difficulty level.
2. GK was easy and Logical was difficult.
3. The paper was not very lengthy.
4. Expected cut-off: 80

Haydel Juneja (from Aligarh) -  BA LLB:

1. The pattern was a bit changed, something not expected at all.
2. The different sections were merged; comprehensions were merged.
3. All you have to do is stay calm and composed, and that is how I did in my exam. 
4. The trick is also interpreting how you solve the problems.
5. The difficulty level was not that much.
6. Expected cut-off: It could be the same as in the previous edition.

Anupam (BA LLB):

1. The paper was easy but 
2. If you were quickly able to realize that Logical questions were linked to English, it would be easier to score in the section.
3. Overall the paper was easy.
4. The paper was not lengthy.
5. Last year's paper was lengthy. Also, compared to last year, AILET 2023 question paper was easier.

Tarun (Delhi) appearing for BA LLB:

1. The paper was surprising and belied expectations.
2. The difficulty level was moderate.
3. The paper was lengthy.
4. Expected cut-off: 80-85 marks

Tanvi says:

1. The static GK was purely static.
2. Deductive Logic has been merged with the English section; further, questions were passage-based.
3. CR pattern was also changed.
4. The paper was difficult to complete in 90 minutes.

10% of seats are reserved for the Economically Weaker Section (EWS). To avail benefit of reservation, the candidate will have to produce a valid Income and Asset Certificate issued by a Competent Authority.

The exam is now OFFICIALLY OVER!

The efforts and toil of months and years of exam preparation are now locked in the OMR sheets. So, the only thing the candidate can now do is wait and watch.

By the way, NLU Delhi might release the provisional answer keys for the AILET 2023 today (maybe in a few hours from now) or maybe tomorrow.

In that case, vacant seats will be converted to OPEN category. Consequently admission to these seats will be based on the genral AILET 2023 merit rank.

The AILET 2023 exam ends at 12.30 pm. And once the exam is OVER, candidates who have appeared in the exam will be coming out in waves, some with smile on their faces, and other with their shoulders slumped!

But that is the nature of entrance exams. So come up with flying colors, while some others may struggle.

The silver lining though is it is not the end. There is always a next OPPORTUNITY.

In case seats reserved for SC candidates remain vacant, such seats will be converted to Scheduled Tribes (ST) and vice-versa.

The exam is now on the threshold of coming to an end. Candidates at this point must be jostling to complete the paper or give the finishing touches!

The first 60 minutes of the exam are now over. The candidate has another 30 minutes in their hands to complete the paper.

The Short Warning Bell will indicate the completion of 60 minutes. Considering the AILET 2023 exam is of 90 minutes duration, after the short bell, candidates will be left with 30 minutes to complete the paper. 

As per the official reservation criteria published on the official website, One (1) seat will be reserved for Kashmiri Migrants, and Two (2) seats will be reserved for Residents of Jammu & Kashmir under the supernumerary category.

The student reactions will start coming in at around 12.30 pm, soon after the exam is OVER.

A bell is rung at 11.15 minutes indicating that no further entry to the examination hall/room is now allowed.

This means, until the exam is OVER, no candidate can either leave for enter the exam hall. 

The last entry time into the AILET 2023 exam hall is 11.15 am.

After that, no candidate will be allowed inside the exam venue. A bell will be rung to announce the closure of the entry GATES.

The entry doors to the AILET 2023 exam hall will be closed at 11.15 am.

Meaning, no candidate will be allowed entry after that.

Candidates who are yet to reach the exam center, have barely a few minutes to catch the boat. Hope they make it on time; also wish them LUCK in the exam.

The exam will commence sharply at 11 am. 

The exam will be administered for admission to the BA LLB, LLM, and Ph.D. courses.

NOTE: After 15 minutes of the commencement of the exam, no candidate will be allowed to enter the examination hall.

The clock is ticking fast towards 11 am. In this instance, the students are getting seated in their allocated seats as per the sitting plan.

The candidate will also have to complete sign-in formalities and will be distributed OMR Anwer Sheets and the Question Booklets.

• Official Answer Key - The official keys will be released by NLU Delhi, and therefore will be considered the final authority on the correctness of the keys.
• Unofficial Answer Key - The unofficial keys will be released by the coaching institutes. Typically the unofficial answer key is released before the official keys. However, the keys given in the unofficial keys may not match the keys given in the official keys. In such cases, the candidate must only consider the official AILET 2023 answer keys.

The cut-off marks are category-specific. 

For instance, if you belong to the OPEN category, the cut-off rank could be around 83.50 marks, while for OBC-NCL, the cutoff could be around 63 marks.

Considering the cut-off is not static, but depends on a host of factors like the total number of applicants, the difficulty level of the AILET 2023 paper, and seat intake, the candidate must try to get a score in the 90 range to have a sure-shot chance of admission.

• AILET 2023 expected cut-off - The expected cut-off for AILET 2023 will be OUT by around 12.30 pm - 1 pm. The expected would be taken from candidates appearing in the exam. Coaching centers will also release the expected cut-off.
• AILET 2023 answer key - The provisional answer keys for AILET 2023 will be released by NLU Delhi most likely in the evening (December 11). It will contain the official answers to questions asked in the entrance exam.

To ensure you don’t run into trouble and have a smooth exam day experience, follow these guidelines:

• Document checklist - Admit card and valid photo ID proof.
• COVID-safety: Carry hand sanitizers and wear masks at the exam center.
• Reporting time: 10 am.
• Exam commencement time: 11 am
• Entry to be closed: No candidate will be allowed inside the exam hall after 11.15 am, i.e. 15 after the commencement of the exam.
• Barred items: Electronic gadgets like mobile phones, and pagers, are not allowed.
• Allowed items: Transparent water bottle, admit card, ID card, face mask, and sanitizers.
• Leaving the exam hall - No candidate will be allowed to leave the exam hall until the exam is OVER.
• Handling OMR Response Sheet - The candidate will not be provided with a second blank OMR Response sheet, so don’t fold, wrinkle, tear, or staple it. Further, don’t spill sanitizers or any liquid on the OMR sheet. 

Adopting unfair means such as cheating or disturbing other candidates can lead to disqualification.

The reporting time was 10 am. So, most candidates have already reached the exam center and now going through entry formalities, including COVID scanning, frisking, etc.

Candidates are not permitted to carry any communication devices like Cell Phones or any other Electronic Gadgets like Digital Watches, Mobile Phones, Bluetooth, Earphones, pagers, Health bands, Calculators, etc. 

However, analog watches may be allowed.

ONLY the following items are allowed inside the AILET 2023 Examination Hall/ Room:

A) BLUE/ BLACK BALL POINT PEN
b) Admit Card
c) Any valid Photo I.D. Proof and photographs
d) Transparent Water Bottle
e) Face mask and sanitizer 

The candidate needs to bring with them the AILET 2023 admit card and a valid photo ID proof.

The first thing you need to do is identify your Seating Place in the Seating Plan displayed at the entrance. Also, stay away from the crowd to ensure you don’t catch COVID-19.

The consortium of NLUs will conduct the CLAT 2023 exam on December 18, 2022.

The CLAT and AILET exams are considered the two most important exams for law aspirants, with AILET score being accepted for admission to NLU Delhi, while CLAT scores will be accepted for admission to 23 participating NLUs.

As per instructions mentioned on the AILET 2023 admit card, the candidate needs to report at the AILET 2023 exam center one hour before the commencement of the exam, i.e, at 10 am. The exam will be held from 11 am -12 pm.

Getting late for exam is not recommended at all, as it may lead to unnecessary stress and panic, which is not a good way to begin such a big exam.

The candidate should bring their OWN BLUE/ BLACK BALL POINT PEN, etc.

Note that sharing of these items is not allowed.

Any candidate who has been tested COVID-19 positive recently and is under medical surveillance or in isolation will not be permitted to take the AILET 2023 exam, scheduled on December 11, 2022.

The AILET 2023 exam will be conducted in the following cities:

The design entrance exam will be conducted within a few hours from now across various test centers in the country in offline mode.

The test timings are 11 am - 12.30 pm. 

Candidates are urged to reach the exam center on time, as there are entry formalities to be completed, including COVID-19 checks, frisking, etc.

The details of the AILET 2023 exam centre, inclduing the name and address will be mentioned on the AILET 2023 admit card. In addition, it will also include the date and time of the exam, and exam-day guidelines.

To get admission to their chosen program, candidates need to secure the cut-off rank in their respective categories. For example, the cut-off for admission to the BA LLB program for the OPEN category will differ from the cut-off for, say, the SC category. 

Only such candidates will get admission who secure a rank equal to or higher than the AILET 2023 cut-off merit rank.

The candidate will not be issued a second OMR sheet (except in exceptional cases). So, it is recommended to handle the OMR Response sheet with care. For example, don't fold, staple, wrinkle, or tear the OMR sheet.

The AILET 2023 exam will be conducted in pen-and-paper or OMR-based mode. 

The test duration will be 90 minutes. The BA LLB question paper will include 150 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) from three sections - Current Affairs & General Knowledge, English Language, and Logical Reasoning. Meanwhile, the LLM question paper will include 50 multiple-choice questions and 10 subjective questions (the candidate has to answer only TWO).

The admit card for the national-level exam was issued on November 25, 2022. It contains key details pertaining to the timings of the exam, including reporting time, address of the allotted exam center, and exam-day guidelines to be followed. 

Candidates must carefully go through the AILET 2023 admit card. 

The exam centre will have strict COVID-19 protocols in place. Also, candidates are recommended to carry hand senitizers and wear masks when inside the exam centre. 

In addition, follow the instructions given by officials at the exam centre.

NLU Delhi recommends that candidates reach the AILET 2023 exam venue one hour before the commencement of the exam, i.e. at around 10 am. Reaching the exam centre late is to be avoided on exam-day, as it may lead to unnecessary stress and panic.

The national-level design exam will be conducted in centre-based mode. The details of the allotted exam centre will be mentioned on the AILET 2023 admit card.
