AILET 2023 exam is OVER!
NLU Delhi conducted the AILET 2023 exam on December 11 (11 am - 12.30 pm).
The exam is administered was pen-and-paper mode.
Candidates had to report at least one hour before the commencement of the exam. Also, 15 after the commencement of the exam, no candidate will be allowed inside the exam hall.
COVID-positive candidates were not allowed to take the exam.

As per feedback given by students, the exam pattern for AILET 2023 was changed:
- The Logical Reasoning section was merged with the English Language.
- However, the common consensus is the question paper was easier compared to last year's paper.
- The cut-off could be anywhere between 80-90 marks.
- The GK section was the easiest.
- Many students found the Logical reasoning section the most difficult of the three sections.
Scores of the AILET 2023 exam will be considered for admission to the BA LLB, LLM, and Ph.D. courses offered by NLU Delhi.

Hostel accommodation for BA LLB program (new admissions)
As per guidelines mentioned on the official website of NLU Delhi, there is a paucity of rooms in the hostel. Consequently, newly admitted from the Delhi/NCR region will not be provided with hostel accommodation.

National Law University (NLU), Delhi will release the answer in online mode at its official admission portal - nationallawuniversitydelhi.in.

How to challenge keys in the AILET 2023 answer key?
The answer key released by NLU Delhi may sometimes contain the wrong keys. In that case, the candidate can challenge the key. Keys can also be challenged if the candidate has any doubts.
The step-wise process to challenge the answer key is outlined below.
- Go to the AILET 2023 admission portal
- Click on the answer key objection submission tab (it will be activated once the window opens)
- You will have to log-in by entering your log-in credentials - AILET 2023 roll number, email id, and mobile number.
- Once you are logged in, click on the link to tally the questions from the AILET 2023 question booklet
- Select the objection type using the drop-down menu
- Upload supporting documents
- Pay the applicable fee (INR 500 per challenge)

- Official Answer Key - The official keys will be released by NLU Delhi, and therefore will be considered the final authority on the correctness of the keys.
- Unofficial Answer Key - The unofficial keys will be released by the coaching institutes. Typically the unofficial answer key is released before the official keys. However, the keys given in the unofficial keys may not match the keys given in the official keys. In such cases, the candidate must only consider the official AILET 2023 answer keys.

What is a good score in AILET 2023?
The cut-off marks are category-specific.
For instance, if you belong to the OPEN category, the cut-off rank could be around 83.50 marks, while for OBC-NCL, the cutoff could be around 63 marks.
Considering the cut-off is not static, but depends on a host of factors like the total number of applicants, the difficulty level of the AILET 2023 paper, and seat intake, the candidate must try to get a score in the 90 range to have a sure-shot chance of admission.

- AILET 2023 expected cut-off - The expected cut-off for AILET 2023 will be OUT by around 12.30 pm - 1 pm. The expected would be taken from candidates appearing in the exam. Coaching centers will also release the expected cut-off.

AILET 2023 exam day do’s and don’ts
To ensure you don’t run into trouble and have a smooth exam day experience, follow these guidelines:
- Document checklist - Admit card and valid photo ID proof.
- COVID-safety: Carry hand sanitizers and wear masks at the exam center.
- Reporting time: 10 am.
- Exam commencement time: 11 am
- Entry to be closed: No candidate will be allowed inside the exam hall after 11.15 am, i.e. 15 after the commencement of the exam.
- Barred items: Electronic gadgets like mobile phones, and pagers, are not allowed.
- Allowed items: Transparent water bottle, admit card, ID card, face mask, and sanitizers.
- Leaving the exam hall - No candidate will be allowed to leave the exam hall until the exam is OVER.
- Handling OMR Response Sheet - The candidate will not be provided with a second blank OMR Response sheet, so don’t fold, wrinkle, tear, or staple it. Further, don’t spill sanitizers or any liquid on the OMR sheet.
Adopting unfair means such as cheating or disturbing other candidates can lead to disqualification.

CLAT 2023 exam to be conducted new week
The consortium of NLUs will conduct the CLAT 2023 exam on December 18, 2022.
The CLAT and AILET exams are considered the two most important exams for law aspirants, with AILET score being accepted for admission to NLU Delhi, while CLAT scores will be accepted for admission to 23 participating NLUs.

To get admission to their chosen program, candidates need to secure the cut-off rank in their respective categories. For example, the cut-off for admission to the BA LLB program for the OPEN category will differ from the cut-off for, say, the SC category.

The exam centre will have strict COVID-19 protocols in place. Also, candidates are recommended to carry hand senitizers and wear masks when inside the exam centre.

Reach the AILET 2023 exam centre on time
NLU Delhi recommends that candidates reach the AILET 2023 exam venue one hour before the commencement of the exam, i.e. at around 10 am. Reaching the exam centre late is to be avoided on exam-day, as it may lead to unnecessary stress and panic.
