The National Law University (NLU) Delhi has announced the AILET 2024 syllabus and AILET Exam Pattern 2024 for BA LLB, LLM and PhD programmes. As per the notification, the exam pattern for AILET 2024 has been revised. AILET 2024 Exam is scheduled to be conducted on December 10, 2023. Candidates must note that the AILET 2024 Exam will be held in pen-and-paper mode on December 10, 2023. All those candidates who wish to appear for the AILET Exam 2024 are advised to check the entire syllabus of AILET 2024 before starting their preparation.

AILET 2024 UG Syllabus
As per the official notification, the AILET BA LLB question paper has three sections. AILET BA LLB Syllabus 2024 covers topics such as logical aptitude, general awareness and English comprehension.
AILET 2024 Exam Pattern: BA LLB
Candidates must note that the NLU Delhi has this year brought a major change in the exam pattern. While the Legal Reasoning section was removed in 2022, the legal principles may be used in the logical reasoning section to test logical aptitude but the examination will not require any kind of legal knowledge or technical understanding. AILET 2024 Negative Marking
Candidates must note that there will be negative marking in AILET 2024. The criteria for negative marking will be based on the formula 0.25*4=1 which means per wrong answer 0.25 Marks will be deducted. Therefore, four wrong answers will lead to deduction of 1 Mark.
AILET 2024: Tie-Breaking Method
In case two or more candidates get the same marks at the All India Law Entrance Test (AILET) 2024, their merit will be determined on the basis of higher marks in the section on LOGICAL REASONING in the AILET 2024. If the merit is still same, then the candidate senior in age shall get preference. If still there is no change in merit, then computerized draw of lots shall be taken into consideration.
