The National Law University Delhi (NLU Delhi) will release the AILET 2025 First Merit List on December 27, 2024. Candidates who appeared for the All India Law Entrance Test (AILET) 2025 can check the merit list on the official website of NLU Delhi; i.e. nationallawuniversitydelhi.in.

The notification also outlines important information regarding the upcoming counselling schedule. Shortlisted candidates will need to attend the AILET 2025 counselling in order to secure their seats. The AILET BA LLB exam was conducted on December 8, with the answer key being released the following day. The AILET 2025 results were announced on December 12.

Steps to Download AILET 2025 First Merit List:

Candidates can follow the simple steps given below to download AILET 2025 First Merit List:

  • Go to the official website; i.e. nationallawuniversitydelhi.in
  • Look for the 'AILET 2025' tab or the link to the First Merit List under the 'Admissions' section.
  • Select the link for the "AILET 2025 First Merit List."
  •  The merit list will open as a PDF. Candidates can download and save the document for reference.
  • Search for your name or roll number in the list to verify your rank.

What to Do If Your Name is Not Mentioned on AILET 2025 First Merit List? 

If your name is not mentioned on the first merit of AILET 2025 BA LLB, wait for the second, third and fourh merit lists. Check release dates for these merit lists below:

Q: Β  When will AILET 2025 be conducted?

A:

The AILET 2025 exam was conducted on December 8, 2024 from 2 PM to 4 PM. The exam was conducted offline. The AILET 2025 application was released on August 1, 2024 at nationallawuniversitydelhi.in. Through this exam, candidates will be able to apply for BA LLB (Hons.), LLM, and PhD in Law courses taught at the National Law University Delhi.

Q: Β  What is AILET 2025 tie-breaking method?

A:

The methodology followed to determine the merit rank if two or more candidates score the same marks in AILET 2025 is explained below.

BA LLB program 

  1. If two or more candidates get the same marks, their merit will be determined on the basis of higher marks in the logical reasoning section.
  2. If the tie persists, then the candidate senior in age will be given preference.
  3. If the tie is still undecided at this stage, then the merit rank will be decided by the computerized draw of lots.

LLM program

  1. Senior Age;
  2. Computerized draw of lots

A:

The invite list carried the following information:

  • The invite list was released category-wise
  • It included the application number, roll number, total marks, and All India Ranks of candidates shortlisted for counselling.
  • It also included the seat matrix and reservation for AILET 2025 admission process.
  • The counselling schedule
  •  The step-wise counselling process.

NLU Delhi offers law courses i.e. five-year Intergrated BA LLB (Hons.) course at the undergraduate level, One-year LLM course at the postgraduate level, and PhD courses at the doctorate level. For admission to the law courses,  NLU Delhi conducts its own law entrance exam known as the All India Law Entrance Test (AILET), thus making it the only law school in India that does not accept the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT).
