Will NLU Delhi accept CLAT 2024 score for admission?
No, NLU Delhi accepts admission in UG and PG law degree courses only through AILET exam. CLAT scores are used for admissions to the 23 National Law Universities in India except NLU Delhi, as it is the only university that is not a part of Consortium of National Law Universities. Although before formation of Consortium of NLUs, the university (NLUD) actively participated in conduct of CLAT examination and counselling process, however, when the preference was given to other NLUs over it, then in 2012 it was decided that NLUD will not accept CLAT scores for admissions. Hence, AILET was conducted exclusively for admission to undergraduate and postgraduate courses offered by NLU Delhi.

Before appearing for the law entrance exams, the aspirants want to know which one is difficult to crack. If you compare the number of applicants per seat then definitely AILET is a tougher exam as compared to CLAT. It can be confirmed as under:
- More than 60,000 candidates appear in CLAT admission to 2,644 UG seats and 914 PG seats
- Approximately 19,000 candidates appear for 110 seats - BA LLB, 70 seats - LLM, and 18 seats - PhD

What documents are required to fill AILET 2024 Application Form?
Candidates who wish to apply for AILET 2024 Application Form are advised to check the list of documents required to register for AILET 2024 before starting the process. The list of documents required to fill AILET 2024 application form has been mentioned below:
- Marksheet of Class 10th/ 12th and certificate
- Graduation mark sheet and certificate (For LLM - if available)
- Passport size photo with white background (Size should be less than 1 MB, format .jpg/.jpeg)
- Scanned signature (maximum size 1 MB, format - .jpg/.jpeg)
- BPL certificate (if you belong to the BPL category) (Max size - 2 MB)
- Passport (if you belong to a Foreign National (FN) category) (Max size - 2 MB)
- Your Email Address and valid mobile number
- Character certificate (Should not be less then 3 month old)
- Transfer certificate
- Relevant category certificate (for SC, ST, OBC, J&K category students)
