For the General category, the applicants need to pay an AP LAWCET 2026 application fee of INR 900. This fee needs to be paid for both the 3-year and 5-year LLB programs. 

To be eligible for AP PGLCET 2026, a candidate must hold an LLB/BL degree (either 3-year or 5-year duration) from a recognized university with atleast 50 per cent marks. 

The applicant must have passed the Intermediate examination (Class 12) or its equivalent from a recognised board like the Board of Intermediate Education, AP, with a minimum 45% aggregate marks for the General Category. 

The applicant must have a Bachelor's degree in any discipline (BA, BSc, BCom, BTech, etc.) from a university recognised by the UGC for the 3-yr LLB course with minimum 45% aggregate marks for the general category. 

There is no upper age limit for candidates applying to either the AP LAWCET 2026, 3-year or 5-year LLB programs. Candidates should be at least 17 years of age for the 5-yr LLB course.

Candidates must satisfy the Local/Non-Local status requirements in the application form. 85% of total seats are reserved for Local candidates who belong to the state of Andhra Pradesh.
